Rubber Stamp Carving Workshop - Wed 10th Oct

Carve your own rubber stamp!
Wednesday 10th October from 7 till 9pm

Come and enjoy a couple of hours where you create an original carved rubber stamp.  This can be used for cards, tags labels or wrapping gifts .

In this workshop, you will use the provided inspirations to create your own takeaway stamp.  You will be guided on how to plan, use the cutting tools and printing materials to create your unique stamp. 

This is a relaxed and fun course suitable for beginners aged 16+.

No previous experience or drawing skills are necessary to enjoy this workshop.

The venue is The Chop Shop Bar & Grill in Kelham Island
1B Alma St, Sheffield S3 8RY

What to expect:

• A warm welcome.
  
• All materials and tools will be supplied. 
  
• You will be guided through the satisfying process of creating a unique rubber stamp
  
• You will learn how to transfer your image onto the carving block, carve, ink and print your image.
  
• You can expect to take home a small range of printed items.
  
• Opportunity to purchase a refreshing drink and food before, during or after the workshop.
• Chop Shop are extending their 3 small plates for £20 offer to all participants. 

What to Bring:

Please wear non-precious clothes as printing can get messy and bring an oversized t-shirt or apron if you prefer to wear  one.

Cancellation policy 

• Workshop fees are refunded as follows : up to 14 days before the  event 80%
• Up to 7 days before the event 50%
• Under 7 days non-refundable. however life does happen so 50% of this workshop’s fee will be deducted from any future workshop purchases by prior agreement.

If the course is cancelled? 

In the unlikely event the course is cancelled by Anne or the venue, a full refund will be issued or, if you prefer, you can be transferred to another course.
