Art Quilt Wall Hanging

Design shows two colourful appliquéd hare silhouettes on a subtly machine quilted background.  The scene capturing the hares sitting still on the woodland floor within the shadow of two trees.

The hares are soft coloured fabric and beneath them are lightly appliquéd and stitched hand dyed sari fabrics and fleece locks. The background detail is quilted in white thread on a white fabric so the stitched lines create the detail.

Finished size : 540mm  x 830mm

Fabrics :  100% cotton fabrics, sari silk and Wensleydale fleece locks.  80/20 cotton/poly wadding
